4 years ago: a wedding throwback

In honour of Mitch and I celebrating our fourth wedding anniversary this week (May 23!), I thought I'd share a few photos from our wedding day.

It's so weird and nostalgic looking back on these photos. We got married at the young ages of 18 and 20, so not everything about our day was completely thought through or organized or perfect or exactly the way we'd do it today. Does anyone look back after a few years and say it was actually the perfect day? I know so many of us say it was, but do we mean it? I might be alone here, but I think every wedding has it's quirks and imperfections, and it's not those things that matter.

But what was perfect about it, what mattered, was this: the beginning of our life together. I don't think this day was the most important day of our life because no day is. Each day we learn and grow and love, and each new day is an important day. But here are some highlights from this day we pumped a lot of time and money into to celebrate our new beginning.

Some of the vendors involved in our day:

Photography: Mackenzie Jean  (plus I did her logo!)
Venue: Cielo's Garden
Caterer: Kawaii Crepe (umm... how were we this cool?)
Florals: Evangeline's Flower Hut
